The Home of New ID
Magazin in der Heeresbäckerei is a former army bakery and an impressive example of industrial architecture from the 19th century. The different parts of the facility are grouped around a generous interior courtyard. This former granary on the river Spree was transformed into an exclusive venue in 2009 – the perfect place for one of our main stages at New ID.
Across a big inside area, Spindler & Klatt offers countless possibilities for our New ID. The premises, in former times an army bakery, accommodate a multifunctional model of gastronomy and offer an ideal setting for exclusive panels, guest speeches and discussions which can benefit from the different spaces such as lounge, bar or club.
Berlin Kreuzberg’s Sage is a giant industrial brick building from the outside, but a hip restaurant with artistic chic from the inside. The beach bar with its palm trees and loungers provides the ultimate summer feeling. With a fruity cocktail in your hand and sand between your toes you can enjoy the view on Spree – Caribbean vibes right in the heart of Berlin City.
FluxBau is a popular hangout for Berlin’s creative scene and has hosted numerous art exhibitions, readings, club nights and exclusive concerts. Stunningly located on the banks of the Spree, FluxBau offers a terrace on the water with great views of the TV Tower and the Oberbaumbrücke.
